PERSONALIZED NUTRITION PROGRAMS

There is no one size fits all.

Personalized nutrition and the noninflammatory diet are huge components of The Wellness Way philosophy. You’ll find they will be important for your health journey. What you put in your body can heal you or make you even more sick.

If it’s so important, why isn’t nutrition easy? There is no one size fits all for dietary recommendations. What works for one person may not work for another. It can be overwhelming with all of the diet options out there. What should, or shouldn’t you choose? Allow us to help you simplify the process and achieve the results you desire without the guessing!

What will a Personal Nutrition Plan Do for my Health?

Your custom nutrition plan will support your health goals. You will get individual health results because everybody is different. Your personal nutrition plan will include helping you identify foods that might seem healthy but are actually harmful to you. Overhauling your diet will help you improve the overall function of your body, which can also lead to a variety of improvements that you might not even be expecting.

In addition to improving your body’s function for your health goals, you may experience improvement in symptoms like fatigue, headaches, brain fog, acne, bloating, asthma, and many others you might not realize are connected to an inflammatory diet. Many people are living with these symptoms, but don’t have to!

Your Nutritional Assessment Begins with You!

Our personalized nutrition programs are customized for each patient based on their specific test results and current health needs. This allows us to provide the most custom nutrition plan possible, to promote your ideal health. We choose to focus on individual foods that specifically relate to inflammation affecting your body as the foundation for your custom nutrition plan.

Part of this includes food allergy testing. It’s important to find out what your food allergies are, but this can be difficult because food allergy symptoms can be delayed, which can lead to chronic health conditions. These conditions can include arthritis, attention deficit (and hyperactivity) disorders, autism, chronic fatigue, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine headaches, and more. Interested in more information on food allergies? Check out our article, Should I get my Food Allergies Tested? You will learn more at your personalized nutrition consultation.

What Can I Expect at a Personalized Nutrition Consultation?

After your assessment and testing, you will schedule a nutrition consultation. At your consultation you will meet with your doctor, or a nutrition consultant, to go over your test results and identify strategies to implement.

  • You will get personal recommendations based on your testing and your health assessment.
  • Everyone will receive general recommendations on the noninflammatory food diet and recommendations to remove inflammatory foods. No matter what your testing says, you will need to remove these foods from your diet to make your nutrition plan successful.
  • You will also get product recommendations, food swap ideas, and suggestions on where you can find healthy recipes.

Many patients are overwhelmed by the wealth of information, and their test results. Your consultant will offer you support and, most importantly, peace of mind. We understand how difficult it can be to make lifestyle changes! Each of us here at The Wellness Way has been there too! You will leave your consultation feeling prepared with information to take control of your health.
